K11 rows garter st.

Make 181 ch
1st row : miss 1 ch, dc to end
2nd row: 3 ch* shell in next dc, miss 2 dc repeat from * to last 2dc, shell in next dc, I tr in last dc
3rd row: 3 ch* cluster in the 1ch space of the shell repeat from * to last space of shell, cluster, 1 tr in top of turning ch

 At beginning of instructions should read –
Using 1 strand of each yarn at the same time.

CABLE SCARF
Rows 1 & 3 should have twice after the brackets and Row 2 and all WS rows should read K8, P6, K5, P6, K8. Row 5 should have twice after the brackets not after P5.
The 2nd last line says ending with a row’
This should be ending with a WS row

For Advanced crocheters

Requirements
* 5x 100g balls of Double Knitting yarn in black
* 4 x 100g balls of Double knitting yarn in white
* 4 x 100g balls of Double Knitting yarn in grey

* Depending on your tension a 4.5mm or 5mm crochet hook

* Yarn needle for sewing in ends.

Approx finished size is 150cm x 150cms

Tension 4 shells = 12.5cm

Using black yarn make 199 ch loosely.
Row 1: Tr in 4th ch from hook and in next ch, *skip 2ch, tr in next ch; ch 1, 2 tr in next ch, skip 3 ch, 2 tr in next ch; ch 1, 2 tr in next ch; rep from last 5 ch; skip 2 ch, tr in each of last 3 ch.

Row 2:Ch 3, tr in each of next 2 tr, skip next 2 tr, work a shell (2tr, ch 1, 2tr) in next ch 1 space * skip next 4 tr, work a shell in next ch 1 space; rep from *to last 4 tr,
Skip next 2 tr, tr in each of the next 2 tr. tr in top of ch 3 changing to white (to change colours; work tr until 2 loops rem on hook, finish off colour being used, leaving approx 10cm of yarn for weaving in later. With new colour {leave 10cm} YO and draw through 2 loops on hook = colour changed)

Row 3: Using white, ch 3, tr in each of next 3 ch* work a  shell in ch – 1 space of next shell: work a puff between shells in 2nd row below (To work a puff, {YO and insert hook between shells in 2nd row below, hook yarn and draw up  a long loop to height of  the working row} 4 times {9 loops now on hook} YO and draw through 8 loops on hook, then YO and draw through 2 rem loops on hook = puff made) rep from * to last shell; work a shell in ch 1 space of last shell, tr each of next 2 tr, tr in top of ch 3

Row 4: Ch 3, tr in each of next 2 tr *work a shell in ch 1 space of next shell: rep from * to last 2 tr, tr in each of the last 2 tr, tr in top of ch 3

Row 5: Rep row 4, changing to grey at end of row (as explained in row 2.)

Row 6 – 8: Using grey, rep rows 3 to 5 at end of row 8 change to black.

Rows 9 to 11: Using black, rep rows 3 to 5 at end of row 11, change to white.

Repeat Rows 3 to 11 until throw rug measures approx 150cm long, ending by working Row 10 (2 rows of black completed. Finish off weave in all loose ends

Then Next row should read K8 (not K9), M1, K1, M1 (K15 (Not K17),M1,K1, M1) 7 times, K9 (161sts) work 9 rows of pattern straight
