Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4mm needles.



Using 4.00mm Needles, cast on 98 (106) stitches.
1st row: K2, * P2, K2, rep from * to end.
2nd row: P2, * K2, P2, rep from * to end. Last 2 rows form rib.
Cont in rib until work measures 15 (16) cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row
SHAPE CROWN –
1st row: K2, * P2tog, K2, P2, K2, rep from * to end ... 86 (93) sts.
2nd row: P2, * K2, P2, K1, P2, rep from * to end.
3rd row: K2, * P1, K2, P2tog, K2, rep from * to end ... 74 (80) sts.
4th row: P2, * K1, P2, rep from * to end.
5th row: K2, * P1, K2tog, P1, K2, rep from * to end ... 62 (67) sts.

6th row: P2, * K1, P1, K1, P2, rep from * to end
7th row - K2, * P1, K1, P1, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 50 (54) sts.
8th row - P1, * K1, P1, rep from * to last st, P1.
9th row - K2, * P1, K2tog, K1, rep from * to end … 38 (41) sts.
10th row - P2, * K1, P2, rep from * to end.
11th row - K2, * P1, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 26 (28) sts.
12th row - * P2tog, rep from * to end ... 13 (14) sts.
13th row - K1 (0), * K2tog, rep from * to end ... 7 sts.
FINISHING
Break off yarn, run end through rem sts, draw up tightly and fasten off securely. Sew back seam. Sew in all ends.
