Materials
- Shatterproof egg shells
- Paint
- Jewellery findings or decorative notions
- Assorted beads
- Bead glue
- Metallic cord

Paint the Egg
- Separate the two halves of the shatterproof egg.
- Paint the outside of each half separately. Holding the inside will make it easier to cover the entire outer surface.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Apply a second coat if needed to create an even, opaque finish.
Assemble the Egg
- Apply glue around the joining edges of the two egg halves.
- Press the halves together and allow the glue to dry completely.
- Add a metallic cord loop before sealing the egg if you plan to hang the finished decoration.
Add the Larger Decorations
- Plan the placement of the larger jewellery pieces before applying glue.
- Glue the largest findings around the egg, spacing them evenly or arranging them in a decorative pattern.
- Allow these pieces to dry before adding smaller details.
Add Beads and Finishing Details
- Fill the spaces between the larger decorations with smaller beads, rhinestones or jewellery findings.
- Apply the bead glue sparingly to avoid visible excess around the decorations.
- Continue decorating until the desired pattern is complete.
- Leave the egg undisturbed until all glue has dried.
Display the Finished Egg
