Full Crochet Instructions

Starting the Wrap

Using Main Colour Natural/Brown, start with a magic ring.

Round 1 (RS)

Ch2 on top of ring ch (counts as first tr), 11 tr in ring.

Turn.

Total: 12 tr

Round 2 (WS)

Ch3 (counts as 1 tr here and throughout), 1 tr in each of next 2 tr.

Repeat:

  • Ch2
  • 1 tr in each of next 3 tr

Repeat 3 times.

Turn.

Total: 12 tr, 3 ch-2 spaces

Round 3

Ch3 + 1tr in tr at base of ch3 just made, 1 tr in next tr, 2 tr in next tr.

Repeat:

  • Ch2
  • 2 tr in next tr
  • 1 tr in next tr
  • 2 tr in next tr

Repeat 3 times.

Turn.

Total: 20 tr, 3 ch-2 spaces

Round 4

Ch3 + 1 tr in tr at base of ch3 just made, 1 tr in each of next 3 tr, 2 tr in next tr.

Change to Contrast Colour: Platinume.

Continue until there is 1 tr left before the ch-2 space.

Work:

  • 2 tr in next tr

Round 8

Change back to Main Colour.

Tassels

  1. Using Contrast Colour, cut 4 strands of yarn approximately 48cm long.
  2. Fold strands in half.
  3. Pull the centre fold through a space along the cast-off edge of the wrap.
  4. Pull the loop through approximately 4cm so it forms a stitch loop.
  5. Pass the yarn tails through this loop.
  6. Pull gently to tighten and secure.
  7. Repeat along the cast-off edge, attaching tassels every second space.

Finishing

  1. Darn in all crochet ends using a wool needle.
  2. Neaten loose threads and secure securely.
