This sock pattern is knitted on straight needles. It starts at the cuff and works downwards towards the foot, where the knitting is separated into three parts, the top of foot, side of foot and the sole. The side of the foot and the sole are joined to the top of the foot with a knitting up technique. It is finished with one seam down the back and under the foot.
