Please use only the yarn specified. Another yarn is likely to yield different results. Quantities are approximate as knitting styles may vary between knitters. Check the ball bands to ensure all yarn is from the same dye lot.
NEEDLES AND EQUIPMENT:
A 4.00mm circular knitting needle, 80cm or longer.
Wool needle for sewing in ends.
Stitch Markers.
TENSION:
19 sts and 29 rows to 10cm over latticework stitch, using 4.00mm needles.
KNITTING ABBREVIATIONS:

BLANKET
Seed Stitch Border:
Using 4.00mm circular knitting needles, cast on 148 (190 - 246).
Row 1: *K1, P1 repeat from * to end
Row 1: *P1, K1 repeat from * to end
These two rows form a seed stitch pattern, repeat rows 1 and 2 until stripe
measures 10cm from the beginning ending with a RS row.
Work one more row in seed stitch, placing a marker after 10 sts have been worked and again when 10 sts remain.
Seed Stitch Latticework:
Continue to work seed stitch for the first and last 10 sts of every row, slipping the markers as you come to them, AT THE SAME TIME working the pattern below on the 128 (170 - 226) sts between the two markers.
Row 1 (RS): *P7, K2, P5, repeat from * until 2 sts before the second
marker, P2,
Row 2 (WS): K2, *K5, P2, K7, repeat from * between markers
Row 3: Knit all sts between the two markers.
Row 4: P2, * K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P2, repeat from * between markers
Row 5: *K3, P1, K1, P1, K4, P1, K1, P1, K1, repeat from * until 2 sts before
the second marker, K2.
Row 6: P2, * K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P2, repeat from * between markers

Seed Stitch Border:
Work seed stitch border in the same manner as the border you began the blanket with.
When border measures 10cm from edge of the latticework pattern, cast off.
FINISHING
Weave in all ends and stretch gently into shape.

Alternative Yarns
When substituting Makr Venture, choose a yarn that can achieve the pattern tension of 19 sts and 29 rows to 10cm over latticework stitch, using 4.00mm needles.
Suitable alternatives may include smooth or lightly textured yarns with good stitch definition so the latticework pattern remains clearly visible. A variegated yarn can recreate the colourful appearance of the original Venture yarn, while a solid colour will place greater emphasis on the knit and purl texture.
